August 2011: West Bay photo reunion

A group of us met for fish, chips, a cup of tea and a catch up, then photographs around sunset time. It was an August weekend evening, the weather was quite changeable, quite windy on the seafront with alot of seaspray.
There was a little bit of colour in the sky, but it didn't last very long:
It did give us a chance to compare the lee Big Stopper filter with the hitech pro ten stop filter (hitech nd10 filter). This was taken with the hitech pro ten stop filter - nd10 filter - a two minute exposure time:
The Hitech pro ten stop filter is billed as an alternative to the lee big stopper. There are a few examples of photos taken using the hitech pro ten stop filter on my site.
We all managed to get something different, my own favourite photo of the evening was this long exposure using the hitech pro ten stop filter (30 seconds) converted to black and white:
A good evening of landscape photography had by all.
