December 2012: Season's Greetings
My 2013 landscapes calendar is now sold out.
If you have purchased one or receive one as a gift, I hope you enjoy. For the 2013 calendar I set myself the challenge of examining the local landscape and producing a series of photographs using different techniques.
The photographs - January to December - are all taken within a 10 mile radius of home, four taken with a couple of miles.
"You don't need epic surroundings to take a landscape photograph...beauty can be found on your doorstep if you are open to looking..."
My August photograph - Copper Beech Tree - has been supplied to Advantage Digital Print for their 2013 Corporate Calendar:

2012 saw some strange weather in mid July which left the main roads out of town closed due to floods:

The highlight, though, was the preparation for London 2012 and the cultural events in the Weymouth area. The veils of light were switched on in Weymouth bay:
