Season's Greetings!
If you have received a 2015 Landscapes Calendar, I hope you enjoy it.
There are a few desk calendars remaining, these are still available for purchase.
The aim this year was to show the Dorset Landscape using some simple photographic techniques.
If I had to choose a favourite from the twelve images it would be the iconic beech trees near Kingston Lacy:
I first visited this location on a workshop where it was an exercise in compressed perspective. I have visited this area a few times since. This October it was so windy, Kingston Lacy itself was shut. The avenue of beech trees was like a wind tunnel. The 2.5 second exposure captures movement in the branches and leaves.
There is plenty to view on my website. Apart from landscapes and architecture, I do like having a go at photographing events such as:
Weymouth Beach Motocross
Dorset County Show
Beach Volleyball
The Red Arrows
