Dorset County Show 2014

I was one of four photographers tasked with documenting the Dorset County Show on Sunday 7th September 2014.
The brief: One Hundred photographs from each photographer straight off camera in jpeg format by the next day, focusing on lesser documented areas as well as the photogenic. The Show organisers use the photographs in various publicity material including advertisements and social media.
In return for our efforts entry and lunch was included. The steward's pass made all areas accessible which included the member's area. It was a long day with the evening being spent sifting the photographs to select the one hundred.

I quickly established that I could trade photograph taking for snacks on my way around. I managed to obtain cake, donuts, oatcakes, reduced items and a half of ale in return for photographs! Everyone's a winner!
In addition to photographs being supplied to the show organisers, photographs were supplied to various local organisations.
