Evening light - Hardy Monument

Hardy Monument is a local landmark owned by the National Trust. The Monument is 22 metres high and was erected in 1844. It stands on Black Down, a height of approximately 242 metres.

This locations is always difficult without a specialist lens. The surrounding ground very close to the base of the Monument is about four feet lower. Further away at the end of the car park it is 8-10 feet lower. Distortion is inevitable so correction in photoshop afterwards is necessary.

A great hour watching the evening light at Hardy Monument.
