February 2012: Signs of spring...
Although it has been very cold we did manage a walk in a fine Dorset location for snowdrops - Galanthus. Snowdrops are one of the first signs of spring.
The area was under quite a bit of tree cover, so there wasn't much light. I had my 50-250mm lens, which worked well at picking out snowdrops 15-20 foot away. There were plenty of places to brace the camera low down, but it was difficult to find clutter-free backgrounds.
