I took a trip over to Portland for some sunset photography. The clouds looked quite good when I left home. Approaching Portland, I could see a lot of fog. Initially disappointed, I stopped near Portland Heights and looked over Chesil Beach from one of the viewing points.
This was one of those "photographic moments" - within a few minutes, the fog on the coast rolled across Chesil Beach and across the base of Portland:
Moments later, all I could see was fog:
