London for a tenner...

The local train network was running an "anywhere on the network for £10" deal. We decided to take advantage and head to London for the day.
A bit of research beforehand helped me decide on some photo opportunities together with which lens to take (my 55-250mm).
Luckily it was a blue sky day! I particularly wanted a few photos on the London Skyline.
St Paul's Cathedral from the other side of the Thames:

The skyline with Blackfriers Bridge in the foreground. Blackfriers Bridge is the World's largest solar-powered bridge:

The shapes of the buildings also lent themselves to black and white:

The Embankment was a hive of activity, including buskers in strange places:

The living statues of Covent Garden have raised the bar. They now levitate!
