March 2013: Surrealism
A few weeks ago I went to an afternoon workshop on "surrealism". Surrealism can feature the element of surprise or the unexpected.
With the use of photoshop, my contribution was:

I called it "utopia - could you imagine being the first people to find a new corner of the planet?"
This was put together using one of my favourite photographs of the cliffs at West Bay, duplicating it and flipping it to create a mirror image. The Wingwalkers were 'borrowed' from one of my photos taken at the Bournemouth Air Show. The 'golden sky' was from an image of colourful clouds at sunset.
On the subject of digital manipulation, I found a magazine tutorial showing how to add reflections to photos. After a root through a few photos to find one that it might work on. Is the reflection real or has it been added?
