Beech Tree Avenue

The Beech Tree Avenue in Dorset is always a good place to look for Autumn colour.
My first walk there was a little early. Photograph taken late afternoon with the sun coming from the right hand side:

Two weeks later, there was much more colour. It was drizzling, so no late afternoon sun.

Looking in the opposite direction:

As the light dropped, a slightly longer exposure could be used to capture the car lights going past. This needed a little patience, to get full red light trails across a ten second exposure, I needed about 8 cars going past, with no oncoming traffic:
