Promenade Sunset

Beautiful sunsets seem few and far between. I took a trip down to West Bay; there were hardly any clouds over the cliffs but looking the other direction there was a large bank of cloud. For 20 minutes after sunset the clouds transformed into a mass bank of colour.

As if often the way, the positioning of the clouds didn't lend themselves to a great composition. I managed to position myself on the promenade with the old kiosk as a feature. There was a bit of a trade off with my positioning; any further right and there were cones and a bin behind the kiosk. Any further forward would have meant more cars in the photo.

The only downside for me, is the line of cars. But they were there so I kept them in the photo. A great 20 minutes watching the clouds at sunset.
