Summer Sunsets

We've just gone past the longest day of the year, current sunset time is about 9.25pm. The last couple of weeks has seen some nice sunsets, here's some I've seen:

Portland Bill. A lovely still evening, a bit of colour in the sky but my main aim was to photograph the lighthouse with some foreground rocks:



Cliffs at West Bay. This sunset lent itself to a slightly longer exposure:



Portland Pier, Bowleaze. During a walk along the beach at Bowleaze, the sky didn't appear have much to offer, but all of a sudden there were some nice pastel colours (always worth hanging on to see what happens!)





Swanage Bay. This was taken about 20 minutes after sunset, some great colour!
