Ten minutes apart

Two photographs, taken at Milton Abbey, approximately ten minutes apart showing different lighting conditions. Both taken from the same position.

I arrived when a bank of cloud and light rain was passing over. The sun was illuminating the fields behind the Abbey but most of the scene was flat.



However, a wait of about ten minutes, until the clouds and rain passed, illuminated the autumn trees to the right hand side, and added some sunlight to the Abbey. This is what I set out to see and photograph.
