To Clone or not to clone...
There was no sunset to speak of during a recent trip to West Bay. It's nice to hang on until after sunset; when the lights start to come on:
I always quite like this promenade view with its retro kiosk. As the lights came on, I was interested in the starburst effect from the lights created by a small aperture.

Sometimes objects get in the way and detract from the photo. In the photo above there is a car at the back of the picture. There is also a black bin next to the kiosk.
A quick clone to remove these items and a crop and the final result I think is much better:
Sometimes unwanted objects are in a photograph - should they stay or go? If you only saw the final photograph you probably wouldn't know a car and bin have been cloned out of the photograph.
What you may also not know is I waited until people moved out of the way. There were also three traffic bollards in front of the kiosk. I shoved them behind the kiosk so that they weren't in the photo when I took it - is this a form of pre-photo cloning? (moving objects out of the way by hand and waiting for people to be out of the way).
