Long exposures...
This outing had been on my 'to do' list for quite a while.
The Twin Sails Bridge in Poole provides a second road link from Poole town centre to Hamworthy. It was completed in 2012.
I got there just before sunset which gave me a chance to walk up and down both sides to find some compositions I quite liked. There was no sunset to speak of, but the light was good:
As the light went there was chance for some long exposures, timed to catch some car light trails:
I quite liked the idea of converting to black and white:
By chance a fire engine came over the bridge, this is my favourite from the evening and can be seen in the gallery: http://kjw.photium.com/twin-sails-bridge
