Weymouth Pleasure Pier

An evening stroll along Weymouth esplanade just before sunset led me to the area of Weymouth Pleasure Pier. The pier was opened in 1933 and it 1300 feet in length. This replaced the previous 600 foot structure. The pier is now slowly falling into disrepair.

What was more fascinating was the colour of the sky in the other direction, above the Pleasure Pier itself:
The glow in the windows is from the setting sun:
I took this photograph to try and create some depth by using the concrete harbour wall:
